If you are checking us out and are a guest on our website, we want to welcome you and give you a little insight into what you will find when you come to visit us!
When you arrive at Destiny Cowboy Church, you will find a laid back, comfortable family enviroment. We are fun,loving people and want you to feel like you just found your church home. So come on in and see what its all about.
We start our Sunday mornings at 8:30am with mens and womens small group studies, and at 9:30am folks start rolling in to get ready for worship. There is no dress code for Destiny. You don't have to be a Cowboy, and you don't have to dress up or wear a suit. We have a comfortable, "come as you are" atmosphere. You can dress to the nines or show up in shorts and flip flops. We just want you to come and be apart of the fellowship. God cares about you, and not necessarily how you are dressed!
We usually have a light breakfast at 9:30am and hot coffee or soft drinks or bottle water to satisfy your cravings. Sunday service starts at 10am each Sunday morning. We sing and worship with hymns, country gospel songs and sometimes a mixture of newer songs, followed by the sermon. And we love bible preaching. Our pastor loves going through the books of the bible and teaching others about what it really means, and how we can apply it to our every day lives.
During church service we have childcare for your kids, and they will get spiritually fed and learn bible stories and hear about Jesus! But if you'd rather them stay, they can sit right beside you or they can also set in the back and color on bible story pages with crayons that we will provide! And if your child needs special care or special provisions please let us know!
Wednesday nights we have pot luck and fellowship at 6:00pm, followed by a time of prayer and prayer requests and bible study around 7pm. After prayer time, we dismiss the kiddos and they head to their rooms for bible study and games.
We would love to have you and your family come visit us at Destiny and we truly hope you find what you are looking for. We realize we don't have every thing a church could have to offer, but we love people and we love Jesus, and we are praying for God to bring us others who will embrace the vision God gave us and help us reach the lost in our community and be the hands and feet of Jesus!
